Character Analysis for Worcester (the hardest name to pronounce in the whole freaking show)


1. Who am I? 


I am the Earl of Worcester. I am scheming, deceptive, passive, and power-hungry. I am a Red Rose- beautiful to look at but deadly to touch because of my razor thorns. 


2. What time is it? 


It is during the reign of King Henry IV, and it has been several years since I help dispose King Richard II. Currently, I am unhappy with the lack of favor displayed on my family from the new king, and I am working to dispose of him too. For the first scene, it is morning in the King's court. 


3. Where am I?


The King's court, London, the Palace. 


4. What surrounds me?


On one side of the King is the people in my family, the Percys, who are sympathetic to my cause and are also wearing red and black. On the other side are those loyal to King Henry. In general, there is always a conspiracy around me.


5. What are the given circumstances?


King Henry isn't giving me the time of day....


Time to go. 


6. What is my relationship?


I have a brother and a nephew who conspire with me. But truly, I rely on only myself. It's a dog eat dog world, and I'll be damned if I'm on the bottom. (IRONY)

King Henry and all of his supporters.

Start a rebellion. Kill some people. Take that crown.

When people bow to the floor when I walk in the room.
