1) Who am I?
- Sir Walter Blunt is a knight of King Henry IV. He is a noble military leader of the king and is loyal to him.
He is a loyal soldier and supporter of Earl of Lancaster, and was mistaken for the king and killed in combat. He had two sons, John and Thomas. (thank you wikipedia..:P)
2) What time is it?
- The time is wartime in the early 1400's of England. In most of my scenes, it is daytime, probably early morning or early afternoon.
3) Where am I?
- the king's castle, a war camp base for Hotspur's side, and then I die on the battlefeild.
4) What surrounds me?
-Usually the king. The feeling that I need to please the king, and Lancaster, who is my Lord. The essence of humbleness surrounds me, and the longing to become more than I am.
5) What are the given circumstances?
-Usually I have just been given news to pass on. This news is usually upsetting, so perhaps I have been distraught and worried.
6) What is my relationship?
- I am very close to Lancaster, and I am below the King, always longing for his approval.
7) What do I want?
-Honor and approval from the king. I have already achieved approval from Lancaster, so now the next step is to receive it from the king.
8) What is in the way?
- I feel like Blunt is just the kind of man who has done everything he can to please the king, and the king just overlooks him like that is what he's supposed to do. No matter what Blunt does, the king just nods and says "good job blunt," or not even that. He is that child in the family that tries to outshine the valedictorian older sister or something like that. I feel like Lancaster is the older sibling in the family, and blunt is the tiny child wanting to be just like him.
9) How am I going to get it?
- Blunt will keep on trying to please the king, and eventually, his faith to the king pushes him into death. I haven't decided yet if Blunt ever does get respect from the king..that is something I have to discuss with Lee.. but he will definitely die with the king in mind.
10) How when I know when I've got it?
-The king will do something out of his kind heart to gesture or hint that I have gained approval.
Well, there is Blunt's 10 answers for the Uta Hagen answers.. now I guess I'll answer the question that Jerry asked: Why am I here? Why am I doing this?
I started acting when I was really young as a chance to get away from myself and the things going on around me. I've grown up in a hard life with a mental disability that is crippling and causes me to be socially unstable and awkward and unconfident.. pretty much all the stuff that I ranted about that one night. With Autophobia, I can't normally function unless I'm extremely confident in what I'm doing. (if you need to look it up, you can. Autophobia).
When I first started doing theatre, it was musical theatre and i did it with all my friends and it was amazing and I was soooo confident on that stage. I've grown so much since my acting life began, and now i feel like I can be one of those Broadway stars that can show the world that people can escape from these crippling mental instabilities. I used theatre to make my life better, and I hope that with my career as an actress, I can change other people's lives for the better.
In other words, I guess... I'm in it to change the world. If you're not, get out of my way, baby! :)
Love you all!!! <3
